My name’s Georgia, I’m the Chief Brand Officer here at HERA. We are a UK men’s and women’s online streetwear retailer.

When we took over HERA, our packaging solution was just a white plastic bag. When we started to establish who we wanted HERA to be as a brand, we wanted to move from non-branded to branded [packaging] something that was more sustainable. And we also wanted something that we could manage in-house ourselves.

We found Sourceful, we were looking on the website, and we made contact with the team they suggested a 98% recycled content plastic bag solution. Switching from unbranded to branded packaging has been so important; to have something that looks and feels and embodies who we are as a brand.

The team at Sourceful have been really helpful. From colour matching to making sure the bag was fit for purpose, that the artwork was correct. The solution that we’ve got right now is exactly what we need. It’s a lot better than the solution that we had. But we want to continue to develop that, whether that’s to a paper solution or to a shipping box for our much larger orders.

The big initial investment that we made - whether that’s financially, or from a resource perspective - has paid off.
